We couldn’t have made 2019 a success without you. And of course, we yearn to fully open again and gather with our community. The Gala also engaged new members and supporters to TMA and introduced them to local artists.Īs the pandemic spreads across our community, we look back on an incredible year of 2019 and are grateful for the hard work with colleagues and board members, wonderful celebrations with friends, and the unwavering support of our members and donors. Our Gala fundraising event in September of 2019 made up for a 2018 financial gap, paid off our line of credit, and helped us build a more financially stable organization. Our 5th floor education center became a hub of activity with hundreds of classes and ways for students of all ages to be creative and learn about art. We restructured TMA membership to be more accessible ($15 single, $25 double, and $50 family) for a whole year of entrance to exhibitions, invitations to events, and discounts on classes and the Museum Store.īy dedicating ourselves to bringing every corner of our building to life, we opened our College Ave entrance, created a Museum Store, expanded our galleries, and made the Atrium a community gathering space. Thank you for supporting the Trout Museum of Art in 2019, one of our best years yet! We refocused on our core mission, the visual arts, and dramatically grew our programming in exhibitions, art education, and community engagement events.
